Edge Protection

Safety is the most important part of what we do, which is why we install our own edge protection on all worksites where possible.
Installing Edge Protection is a job that requires zero experience, you’ll have no personal startup costs and we’ll be paying you well above award wages right from the get go.

As a member of the crew you’ll be:

- Assessing each roof.

- Laying out the materials required and installing or disassembling the Edge Protection equipment on the edges of the roof.

- You’ll start off working within a small edge protection crew, learning the ropes and understanding the De Groot way.

- After your 3-6 month training period, you’ll have a couple of potential options for what you’d like to do next.

- You could move into leading an edge protection crew, join our painting crew which can lead to an apprenticeship  or stay where you are and become a gun edge protection installer, giving you some great opportunities to earn lucrative bonuses

Roof Painting

If you already have roof painting experience, let us show you how painting with De Groot is one of the best options out there.  
We’re better in three ways;

- You’ll start on well above award rates which can increase depending on your painting experience.

- You’re on the books so you’ll have good job security and none of the paperwork and expenses involved with subcontracting. That’s full-time guaranteed work each week with a work vehicle provided to go from job to job.

- If you put in the effort to do great work, you’ll be rewarded with our great incentive structure  

This full-time role will involve painting roofs on a variety of heights and slopes.
You’ll be working directly with our clients and delivering the service to an excellent standard using our simple and easy-to-follow step-by-step guide.

Whenever you travel away from home you’ll always have:

- Allowances for multiple meals,

- Your accommodation paid for

- A staying away from home allowance where applicable
